As part of a trio of luxury villas BAYA has designed, this had a more miminalistic approach but still with tropical undertones for practical living with long overhangs, so the main living area is nicely protected from direct sunlight and the heavier rains. Sliding full length teak screens will create a dramatic lighting effect for the upper levels and soften the modern lines of the building and do what only wood can in bringing elegant texture to the villa, whilst providing shae during the daylight hours if wanted.
