TROPICAL CRAFTSMANSHIP

A HOME INSPIRED BY BALI

Baan Pamina is a luxury beachfront residence where contemporary tropical design is enriched by the warmth, craftsmanship and timeless character of Bali. Rather than creating a themed interior, the design draws on authentic materials and handcrafted detailing, balanced by clean architectural lines and a relaxed approach to modern tropical living.

BAYA was commissioned for the complete interior architecture and design of the residence, together with bespoke furniture, custom joinery, lighting and material specification. Every interior space and built-in element was individually considered, creating a home in which architecture, interiors and craftsmanship form one cohesive experience.

Set within 1,200 square metres of tropical gardens, the residence is organised around a Sukabumi stone infinity pool overlooking the beachfront. Generous living spaces open naturally towards shaded terraces, gardens and the sea, while polished concrete, Paras Jogja stone and solid teak establish a restrained material palette that feels tactile, authentic and designed to age beautifully.

Throughout the residence, craftsmanship becomes part of the architecture. Solid teak cabinetry, wall panelling, bathroom vanities, feature doors and principal furniture pieces were individually designed by BAYA and produced by specialist craftsmen. Combined with natural stone, polished concrete, woven lighting and carefully selected textiles, these bespoke elements give the home a character that feels collected and personal rather than decorated.

Design narrative

01
Bespoke Interiors

Every built-in element was individually designed by BAYA, from wardrobes and architectural wall panelling to bathrooms, kitchens and custom joinery, creating a consistent design language throughout the residence.

02
Natural Materiality

Paras Jogja stone, polished concrete, solid teak and Italian porcelain are carefully layered to create interiors that feel tactile, authentic and naturally suited to the tropical climate.

03
Baya Designed Crafted Furniture

Principal furniture pieces were designed specifically for the residence and handcrafted by specialist artisans, allowing furniture, joinery and architecture to read as one considered interior.

04
Indoor/Outdoor Living

Open living spaces, shaded terraces and generous glazing establish a continuous relationship between the interiors, tropical gardens, Sukabumi pool and beachfront setting.

Everything they did was fantastic, I could trust them blindly, and I am super happy with the final product of their work I can honestly say that work of this quality will be very hard to find in Thailand, and in fact anywhere. If I ever build another villa, I will hire them again for sure.

Whether you’re planning a private residence, boutique hotel, luxury resort or interior transformation, we’d be delighted to hear about your vision and discuss how we can help bring it to life.
